There's No Place Like Home

We are finally home.  We got home later than we thought last night and man is it good to be home.  Olivia is doing well.  She's still a little tired but for the most part she is almost back to her normal self.  Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers, cards, and phone calls.  Allie was so glad to see us last night and I was so glad to see her.

Day 2

Well, we are still here at the hospital.  Even though all the staff here is amazing, we are so ready to go home.  We miss Allie and I miss my bed.  I will say that Olivia is feeling much better and is even laughing and cutting up with Justin right now.  The Doctor came back by around lunch and told us to wait a little longer and see how or if she digests any of the formula we have given her today.  She has not digested any of it.........yet.  While sitting and playing the waiting game here are a few pictures.

This is my best friend in the mornings! My wonderful, sweet, darling husband brought me my energy for the day this morning.
Olivia rolling around and working on getting back to her old self.
Justin feeding Olivia before her nap this morning.  Oh man this makes me have chills.  He is such a great Dad.

Justin has been with Allie in the evenings and I've been staying here with Olivia in the hospital.  I sure miss my bed but most of all I miss being with both of my girls and having our special time together.  This is the very first time the girls have EVER been apart from one another.  Maryann has been a life saver to us with Allie.  I don't know what I would do without her.  Please keep praying that Olivia gets better and we can go go home tonight.

Scary Moments

Scary Moment Number #1  Worrying if the girls have a cold
Scary Moment Number #2  Treating symptoms of a cold
Scary Moment Number #3  Treating Diarrhea for the girls
Scary Moment Number #4  Being admitted to the hospital

YES! We have been here since yesterday and hopefully will be able to go home tomorrow.  Olivia is the only one that has been admitted and has been dehydrated.  She is doing better but has had us scared to death.  Here are a few pictures from our hospital stay.  Please pray that she continues to get better.

Is Chirstmas here already?

It's official.  The department stores have made it clear.  CHRISTMAS IS COMING AND COMING FAST!  It seems like yesterday Justin and I were celebrating Christmas as parents to be and now........WHEW! We are celebrating it as a family with two BEAUTIFUL girls.  God is good.

Saturday morning was fun.  We had pictures made for family/Christmas/four month old pictures.  The photographer ended up being a sorority sister of mine from my freshman year.  I haven't seen her in eight years.  Small world.  Erica said that the pictures will be ready this week some time.  I can't wait to see them.  As soon as I can, I'll post them.  Until then, here is a preview.

Here is a picture of myself with Olivia on the left and Allie on the right before Erica (the photographer) got to the house.

Allie steals the show

I feel terrible because I don't have a lot of videos or pictures of Allie.  Here is a video of her playing in the saucer.  Olivia makes an appearance.  Excuse what she is doing. I think she was taking care of some business.  Maryann, our nanny, is filming for us.  She is too funny in this.

Halloween and More Part II

Here are some pictures of the girls in their Halloween costumes.  They were two peas in a pod.  They were ADORABLE if I say so myself.

This was taken last night at the Peanut Festival here in Dothan.  The girls LOVED the lights from the rides and games.  I think they might have gotten a little over stimulated! When we got home, they were not ready to go to bed.  Olivia in front and Allie in the back.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!  I love fair food.  Don't worry, she (Olivia) didn't eat it.  She was very curious as to what Mommy was eating.

Halloween Weekend and More!

Here are a few pictures from this past weekend.

This was taken Saturday morning at Justin's parents' house before we got ready for the wedding.  Olivia-Left and Allie-Right.
Here is Olivia eating up her carrots.  YUMMY!!

This is my favorite picture of Allie at home last Thursday night before we went to dinner.  She was having a blast in the exersaucer and got mad at us when we took her out.

I'll have more pictures later this evening.
