Minnie Mouse Bowtique

Anyone who has kids knows about The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Minnie's "Bowtique".  Well, that is the girls favorite thing right now and has been for some time.  I thought it was only appropriate to have their 2nd birthday with this as the theme.  I am so excited about this party.  I'm not sure why.  I guess because this year the girls will really get into it because we are having a bouncy house, pinata, "bowtique" station where you make your own hair bow for girls and make your own bow tie for boys, and face painting! I cannot believe they are going to be two!

I am OBSESSED with Etsy and for the past two years have gotten all of my decorations and ideas from them.  Here are the invitations I designed for this year.

4 Months and A New Chapter

Has it been a month since I last posted?  I guess I'm being lazy in all of my spare time.  (sarcasm highly noted)

So, school is out................yay, but that also meas that I am with the girls 2-3 days a week by myself now.  It's fun but whew, by 4:00 pm I am ready to crash.  Friday, June 1st was a bitter sweet day. Friday was my last day of school for the year and also the last day that our AMAZING nanny, Mary Ann (Mae Mae), would keep the girls.  Next year, August 1st to be exact, the twins are starting the 2P (preschool) program at Evergreen here in Dothan and Lillian Claire will also be attending daycare there.  The past two years with Mae Mae has been so special.  She has taught our daughters so much.  She has not only taught them different things but loved them and treated them like her own kids.  They love her so much and already miss her.  She has been my 3rd, 4th, 5th, and even 6th hand everyday since the girls were 6 weeks old.  Justin and I could not have done it without her.  We are so blessed to have her in our lives and are sad that this day has come.  So, Mae Mae if you are reading this please know that we love you more than you will ever know and thank you for EVERYTHING you have done, you continue to do, and will do for us and with us.  We love you so much!!!!!!!!!

We surprised Mae Mae with a sweet card and a present she will have forever.  We got her a sterling silver picture frame with the following engraved on it, "We love you, Love Allie, Olivia, and Lillian"

Last diaper change for LC

As fr Miss Lillian Claire, we went for her 4 month check up today.  We have been taking bets around here for a few days now about how much she weighs.  Well, today I am pleased to announce that I was correct in my prediction.  LC weighed in at 18lbs-4 oz (97%) and 26 3/4 in long (97%).  She is perfect in every way.  The Doctor was very pleased with how well she is growing, especially how tall she is.  He was also impressed with how well she is sitting up.  Here is her latest snapshot.  Look at those legs!!

LOVE it!!

This is a picture of LC asleep in her bumbo while I was making dinner.  Too stinking cute!
